LESSON OPPORTUNITIES

We welcome all ages and genders...if you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach you how to be safe and to have a lot of fun with horses. We can start teaching children how to ride around the age of 6.  If they have an understanding of instruction then we can start at the age of 5.  Lessons can range from the extreme beginner to the well off advanced rider.  As long as you learn something or improve on something, we can continue advancing on.  The program consists of the rider getting the horse, grooming, saddling, then having the riding portion of the lesson.  Time frame can range from 30 minutes (minimum) to an hour and sometimes longer.  Sometimes it may run longer if we are working on intermediate or advanced techniques.  We give lessons in the following disciplines...hunter under saddle, western pleasure, trail, hunter hack, discipline rail, showmanship, halter, lounge line, and equitation/horsemanship.  Every rider sets goals to achieve for the year.  We work on these goals through lesson plans set up by the trainer, to ensure that we reach them. I encourage riders to keep a riding journal to go back and re-read to be ready for the next lessons, this helps with advancing riders to their full potential.

We have private lessons.

Private lessons...are based on the age and learning capabilities of each rider.

We do allow you to haul in for a lesson.
